Making Money From eBay – Another Option

Sell on eBayBefore getting into online business, I used to think that eBay was the only way to make money online.

This has been a very popular money making method for a very long time and even the people who aren’t sure what I do, think I’m running an eBay business.

For me, eBay is just another great option for making money online. I haven’t tried it, mostly because I prefer affiliate marketing,  but I’ve done a bit of research into how it works and what is involved.

Getting Started on eBay

You don’t need a whole lot to get started on eBay at all. You can get started for less than $100 and opening an account is free. At bare minimum you will need the following:

  • a computer
  • a high speed internet connection
  • a digital camera
  • stuff to sell
  • packaging and shipping material (boxes, tape etc.)

Many people start out selling unwanted stuff from around the house such as books, dvds and even old VHS tapes they have no use for anymore.

Serious sellers buy goods from wholesale suppliers and sell them for profit or dropship the products. There are also other ways to make money with eBay but these are the most common methods.

FYI, you can’t really sell bananas on eBay, lol, but you get the idea :)
